Comments:
Delta introduced this saw in a letter to their dealers dated September 20, 1941. They stopped production sometime early in 1942.
I went to Lebanon, OR to see an 80's model Rockwell 24" scroll saw which I bought. While taking that saw apart, I noticed this little saw. Seller couldn't remember much about it, but due to a broken upper plunger and no motor, let me have it for $10. Later, I returned and bought the original Delta stand to the saw for $20. I used a 1/4 H.P. G.E. motor I had on hand.

The only decal on the saw was identical with the oil warning decal on my 1938-39 model 1200 SS, so I made reproduction labels for the stand, the oil warning, the 1940 patent numbers tag, and "Synthesized" a 24-110 version of the Delta "Deluxe" Scroll Saw decal seen on the 1200 Models. The broken plunger was replaced with one from a 40-110 HomeCraft Saw. It will work but isn't an exact match since the HomeCraft castings are 3" deep vs the 24-110 being only 2" deep. I used some left over Sherwin Williams oil base enamel paint that was exact matched to the paint on a Delta Lathe I own, because it is a close match to the paint color I found in protected areas of this saw. The stand was painted with Benjamin Moore Industrial Alkyd Enamel in a light grey.
