This jointer was acquired via kijiji.
It is missing the base front cover. The seller could not provide the info on the previous owner. It seems there were several PO.
I am under the impression that the tool was used in industry at some time as there are two heaters in the manual starter. One tagged 2.4 which is not connected and another one tagged 17.5 which is too strong for the motor installed but is connected.
It seems complete (except for the front panel) and the only damage is to one of the eyelets to join the different cast parts together on the base.
Restoration to come.
And I am planning to make a new front panel using wood fiber panel. Any suggestions welcome.
I am also wondering if the broken eyelet should be build back using weld and shapped afterwards or if I should try to make a part out of a piece of cast iron and have that part welded to the panel.
