I acquired this drill press from an older gentleman in Norwich, CT in 2011 as part of a lot that included a Tomlee table saw and a Clipper Tool Co. vise. He said the tools belonged to his father, who "had 100 projects, but never had the time to complete them". I told him that sounded familiar. Supposedly the "109" prefix indicates the Double A Products Co. as the manufacturer of this press for Sears, Roebuck & Co. Someone on owwm mentioned that the particular "dunlap blue" shade of paint indicates a pre-1947 manufacture date. Also, I think this particular model from Double A is fairly rare - no one seems to have seen this model number before.
