I purchased this machine off craigslist and the only thing it need was a mobile base. I got a little carried away when fabricating it, the story goods as follows.
I know this is overkill for a drill press mobile base, but it sure is nice!
A couple of weeks ago I was at the location metal supplier (Industrial Metals) and can across the 8-foot piece of 1/2" x 6" angle iron for $25.00.
I created a quick CAD model layout with casters and a kick down floor stop, pictures below show CAD models, drawings and the finished product.
