Got this at an estate sale. Paid $50.00, that seems to be my lucky number. It is really heavy!! I dismantled it to load, the table took four old men, to lift. There are two tee slots on the back side of the table. The column mounts to those, and can be moved to any location along the back.(obviously) It has a lifting and lowering mechanism(thank god) I've used it as it came, but bearings are needed. The chuck sleeve is cracked, and will be replaced as well. The angle iron stand is more stable than it looks, but I intend to make a new stand using 2 1/2" square metal tubing. That should make it more pleasing to the eyes. The quill shows some play, but nothing that would make me part with it. Parts are scarce as far as I know. A Delta rep. said that they quit making parts, in 1967. Serial # 52D01A

The motor mounts have been hacked, to make it fit. You can see the head lifting mechanism, at this angle.
