Comments:
This saw was owned by the Williams College Physics Department, who found they didn't need it that much, so they offered it to the Theater Department. It's been in continuous use since then (year 2000). We've added an automatic retraction device, an electronic brake, a lower floating guard and dust collection. Last year I had the motor re-wound and the brushes replaced. She is a powerful saw and will run all day long if needed.
[Admin edit: added year of manufacture based on S/N and Rick Antrobus' research]
