After restoration the saw runs perfect and cuts perfect. I had to replace all the carriage and motor bearings. For the restoration I removed everything, bead blasted, filled the castings, and repainted everything. Redid the table and added dust collection. Right now it has a 12" blade.
This GR has the 8 bearing carriage as seen below. It seems that many of this era had the conical four bearing carriage. From what I have seen, all the 3hp and greater, 3ph motors have the 8 bearing carriage.
