Picked this machine up on CL for $50. It was in very good condition. The owner stated that his father had picked it up at a Richland, SC school district auction, which is consistent with the asset tags located on the machine. It had been sitting in a garage for several years. I cleaned, lubricated and painted the machine. It runs smoothly and functions properly. I cleaned up the post on my old Delta 1460 wood lathe. It is interesting that it has the Delta Milwaukee Badge and the rounded cover and a Rockwell "Peace Sign" Model Number / Serial Number Badge on the cast body of the drill. The serial number seems to indicate a 1977 born on date, while the cover and badge seem to date the press to the late 1960's to early 1970's.
