Found this machine on a CL ad. Nothing was missing on the machine except for the speed control knob, so I had to machine one myself, couldn't find one on the standard sites available to us. It took about 4-5 hours, not original, but it will work. Finally finished the drill press today. A word of advice for future re-builders of this machine, the front pulley bearing retaining cap nut, photo 3, is a LEFT hand thread. It only took me a day to figure this out, nothing in any literature I found online points this out. I think it runs smoother than my 15-655, but this drill press is going to my son-in-law. The only thing that disappointed my in this project were the conditions of the placards. It seems that they were all somewhat faded and hard to get the colors to come out. Maybe it was the year it was made or where ever the drill press spent most of it's life. It was a good project.
