Got this via the world's favorite auction website for $149. Excellent working order and generally good cosmetic condition; came without a chuck but has a foot pedal switch. The only history I know is that it was used by a machinist in a home shop. Came to me via the landlord of the machinist's son just south of Scranton, PA.
It has a 3/4 HP motor wired for 110V, a morse taper #2 spindle. The paint job appears to not be original, since the serial plate has been sprayed over, but it was not poorly done and seems to have some age to it. The wiring seems unlikely to be original but is also pretty dated, having no ground wire and some slight perishing of the outer insulation.
FYI I was able to transport it in the back of a Subaru Impreza hatchback by just taking off the "head" and putting the back seats down. Just in case anyone was wondering...
