CL treasure. Spoted by my friend Tom Vanleeuwen from Ithaca NY. He knew that since I have a 20" and also looking for a the table crank handle it woud be a taker. Owner had it for about 10 years, and decided to let it go free, to a good home. He bought it from antique store, located in Kingston NY with intention to restore it, but got envolved in construction businesses. Not so much fun when you get an old machine like this one and not been able to find out more details about it's past. This DP has all the original parts, the babbitt bearings are in excellent condition. Surprisingly enough, it has the box wrench handle for the table's elevation system. The motor has the original mount adaptedwith V pulley to power the flat belt shaft, protected with metal cage for all the main moving parts. Unfortunately in process of loading it on my truck, it tip over, breaking 3 peaces off it ( showing on pictures bellow). All them are not a major moving parts, and can be fixed with the exception of the lever, I'm not expertice on cast iron welding, it broke right above the shaft where it meets the lock gear (base). Apreciated any advice on how to go about frepairing them,. My friend think that JB Welder would do the job?! Tooks us three hours to load it. The best of all none of us got hurt, and did not damege to my truck, fell just 1' way from it, and I got it a free for a good home.
