Found on ebay after a late night search for some replacement parts for my Wards 6" jointer that I am going to restore. My jointer needed it's motor rewound when I came across this. The story behind the motor is that it was originally sent to a wards customer as a warranty replacement for his Wards Table Saw and was never used, but sat quietly on his shelf in his basement for 40 plus years. This motor is as good as new, wired it up and it is as strong as any modern motor one could buy today. I am going to install it on my Wards jointer when I am finished with the restoration this winter. It came in it's original shipping box and I paid only $35.00 for the motor. This was my best score to date for my vintage woodworking equipment.
