Originally sold to a St. Paul, MN cabinet shop in the fall of 1949. I acquired it at the auction of Saga Woodworking in Minneapolis. I talked to the operator of the machine who told me that it was well taken care of. Other than the Oliver 1949 "No 88-DW-DX-DY and DZ" and 1960 "No. 88 Extra Large Capicity(sic) Saw Benches" catalogs listed here, I can find no other photos or information on this saw anywhere. Rich at Eagle estimated that they sold only 50 or so, and that a "stock" No. 88-DX was unusual. I am very fortunate to have acquired it.
