Purchased at the Walter Drake estate auction in August, 2013. I was the only bidder; I paid about $9.00. No motor. Cast iron construction, though many of the Darra-James machines were aluminum.
Finding it difficult to remove the maker emblem on the head, I left it on when I spooged the machine. The red letters Darra James were removed. Bummer.
