This is a miter saw made by Burbank Sheet Metal Works that cuts 2 angles. 90 and 45. I picked this up off of Craig's List a few years ago with the intention of using it to cut metal. The former owner was a concrete contractor who used it to cut wooden forms. I assumed it was meant for wood but now that I look closely it may have been for metal. It is powered by 3/4 hp 3450 GE motor. Finally the other day I hauled it out for a project and it works pretty good right off the bat. The bearings and belt will need to be replaced and there needs to be more guards to contain the sparks.
