Comments:
Got this Kenmore branded 1/3-HP 1750 rpm motor off a fellow tool buddy up in Austin who got it on a old wood lathe he traded for. I set it up on a stand with a 1937 Walker-Turner Model P715 "Driver Line" 4 inch wood jointer. I took the motor all apart to clean out any dust and painted it in a nice Satin Black, the bearings are still like new and the motor runs very, very smooth. I removed the original on/off toggle switch that was mounted on the motor through the electrical terminal cover plate.
I have never seen a Sears Kenmore branded power tool duty electric motor in the past with this very unique heavy duty cast iron factory mounting bracket.
