Won this online at auction for $223.00 and drove to the western part of NC to pick it up back in '08. I initially purchased it just to get the cast iron base to put under my 37-315 jointer. It was complete except the blades and gibs for the 4-blade cutterhead were missing. Before I got my 37-315 rebuilt, we needed a working jointer for the boatshop, so I reassembled this on a sheet metal stand. Found a 3-blade cutterhead on BOYD and purchased a new set of blades. Had a droop in the outfeed table that I fixed with aluminum shims from a beer can. A real "Rat Rod", looked like Hell, but got the job done.
