Comments:
This machine was acquired from a local furniture making school. The arbor housing had broken off when a student fed the saw into the wood a bit too fast. "The students are scared of it!" was the comment from the owner. The saw was originally at the North Bennett Street School in Boston.
I was able to buy a new housing for it from H&A saws and replaced the bearings and motor. It is a Model "H5" and has a 10 inch blade. I like the saw very much, although it takes a bit of patience to learn the best technique. Slow feeds!
