This drill press belonged to my Dad, when he passed I took his shop tools, as I could not bear to part with the things that brought such happiness to my Dad. I believe my Dad was the original owner, as this drill press has been around as long as I can remember. I believe this is the original motor, as my Dad would never throw motors away he would just order new parts and get them working again. I have no idea when it was manufactured maybe someone can help me with that? In addition the 12" size I listed is a guess made by me from doing a google search on "how to measure a drill press". I am starting to feel a bit guilty about not using these tools, as I just have not found the time to do any woodworking. I would appreciate anyone who could tell me more about this tool, as I am thinking of selling it, as it was made to be used, not stored. Please feel free to email me if anyone can tell me if I got the size right or wrong, and if I could get the correct year of mfg that would be great! As I said I am thinking of selling it and I want to give accurate information.
