This is an update to the original posting of August, 2013
This machine was purchased at auction and came with a copy of the original Bill of Materials. It was shipped to the U.S. Navy at the Mare Island Naval Ship Yard, located close to San Francisco. Sometime in the past 70 years the color was changed from Navy grey to green and made its way to the East Coast.
The machine came out of a working operation in good condition, was pretty complete and ran well. However, an old war horse like this deserved a face lift, so I decided to restore it.
This is the smoothest running band saw I have ever had.
