Comments:
I traded for this lathe several years ago and never paid too much attention to it because as a cabinetmaker I don't use a lathe much. After finding this site I started looking for a model number on it to see if I could figure out its age, and it doesn't have any. Right below the tail stock on the bed there was at one time 2 decals. One was ,as best as I can tell, a dealers sticker and the other was the Delta decal I think. I have searched this site and a few others and haven't seen another like it. I would appreciate all the info that anyone could give me about the age of this lathe. I would really like to find a picture of the origional Delta decal to put back on it as I restore it. I can tell it is not the one with the triangle shape on it.

closer view of the head stock. It is filled with oil through the cup on top but it leaks out around the drive center. Any suggestions on how to seal this would be helpful.
