This planer has a 5hp single phase motor. You won't fine a 12' planer anywhere with this much power in single phase.

HISTORY: I sold this machine to a gentleman who has since died. After he purchased it from me, he worked over all the bearings, power cord, electrical box and such and got it in good mechanical condition and then got sick and barely used it. It has been sitting unused for the 8+ years since he died and several years before that as he was too feeble to use it. It is quite rusted but could be used as is or cleaned up for a restoration project.

The Serial #4522 was printed with the date stamp of 05-46 on a Machine Label that said SKF Equipped. The Boice Crane decal was painted over years ago so I had to so some searching through this web site to find other machines that matched to know it was Boice Crane.
