Saw the saw listed on CL, and 45 minutes later it was in the back of my truck. Paid $300 for it, and was missing the original rip fence, and miter gage. The motor had been replaced with a newer 3Hp motor, which was significantly longer than the original WT motor. That limited me to about 30 degrees until I remounted the drive pulleys and moved the motor much closer to the arbor, and now allows for full motion. The fence is a delta T-2 fence and works pretty well, just looking to extend the guide tube for full 50 inch capacity.
I rewired the entire power switch section with a magnetic starter, and push button switches for safety. I also built a mobile base for the saw as well as some storage and extension tables. Dust collection was improved by adding a closure door over the motor opening, fitting foam batting between the table and cabinet, and closing up the openings for the height adjustment and tilt lock.
Previous owner installed the delta badging. If anyone has a spare walker turner badge laying around, pm me.
