I bought the saw from a post on craigslist. It was in rough shape, but was pretty much complete, less miter gauge and fence.I did a total tear down, media blast, and paint. The top was pretty bad, so I sent it to the machine shop and had it blanchard ground. The machinist said that the top was actually dished/warped. I left the motor with the patina it had just as a reminder that it is an old saw. I don't think it turned out bad for my first resto job.
