I stumbled upon this RARE porter cable 7" shaper by talking with the previous owner about some other item`s I was intrested in purchasing. I was on the side-lines of making the 12hr drive out east for some lineshafting that was really questionable by the pictures he had sent me and after further discussions he had mentioned that he had a porter cable wood shaper and asked if i was intrested in it? Maybe I said, as i was thinking that Porter cable made a bench top table stand for a router, but as he was telling me that the top portion moves back and forth and has a vice mounted on it that peaked my intrest ALLOT so i asked the man if he would send a couple pictures to me and i`ll get back to him. So now i`m thinking that the 12hr drive won`t be so bad if in fact it`s the metal shaper, did i say they are RARE? yes from what i`ve been told their were only 50 of these produced before being sold to LOGAN. I cannot comfirm that only 50 were made but was told from a reliable source and somewhat question the ser# 215 on the machine? anybody with more info please send me an email with what you have.. Thank You!
