Was given to me by a friend's father-in-law. He has a shop full of equipment and I inquired about using a jointer, so he gave me this one. It works great, but needs to be restored a bit. Any information on how to refurbish this fantastic piece of equipment would be greatly appreciated.
The motor that came with the jointer is a Century Electric RSIR (Repulsion-Start / Induction-Run) motor. It is 1 hp, 1460 rpm, and it weighs 150+ lbs! Still works too.
