I bought this horizontal borer at a recent auction of a closed down stair parts manufacturer. It was made by American Machinery and Motor Corp. in New York. I think it is missing the top sliding mechanism.
I especially like the “Toby” logo on the base. The “raised cast letters”, not to be referred to as “embossed”, are a nice detail.
