I was the first caller on this jointer. I think the original ad said something like "Old Jointer $50" I called and asked what he was selling. He told me that it was a Rockwell 8" jointer. I told him that his price was way too low and that I knew he could sell it for hundreds more. He said, "It is nice of you to tell me that, but, its yours for $50 if you want it." I told him I would need a few weeks to think about it. Just kidding. I told him I would be happy to take it. He said he would hold it for a few days until I could come get it, which I did. It is a little dirty, and it isn't the most desirable year of manufacture for these, but for how complete it was, I really don't have anything negative to say about this machine.
