I purchased this from the same man I bought the Wallace band saw from. I heard it run and because he was willing to give me a pretty good deal if I bought both machines, I went ahead and got this. It was too large and heavy to bring home in one piece, so I spent several hours over a few hot days pulling it apart and brining it home in pieces in my small car. It should not need much more than new lubricants, chains, belts, and bearings. It is a substantial machine and I am glad to have been able to find an affordable one of these. One of the challenges for me on this restoration will be straightening all of the sheet metal side covers, especially the pieces which have holes to fik to the iron pieces on the planer sides.
