I purchased this lathe in 2007. The seller had no information about the lathe he removed it from a basement he was cleaning after a sale.

I suspect it was made around 1890s to 1910s?? I have searched all the usual places and have not seen one like it.

It has and eight inch swing and is sixteen inches between centers. Spindle is a MT #1 as is the tailstock. The spindle thread is 3/4 inch X 10 TPI. The right side headstock bushing is a three piece bronze. The rear bearing is adjustable and rides against the end of the 3 step pulley.

The only marks found on the lathe are part numbers and a number "313" which I believe to be a serial number.

The tool rest and tool holder are NOT original to the lathe.
