It's been a while and I don't remember with what (probably sold or traded) machine I got this motor. It's a 1/4 HP 1725 RPM. Date code is LB whatever that translates to.
I took it apart to inspect and clean (making witness marks and a wiring diagram), let it sit for X days/weeks/months and somehow lost the wiring diagram. Bill Nance was kind enough to pull a Jahco motor from his stash and take pictures of the wiring so that I could get this one running again while retaining all the factory smoke. Thanks Bill!
Sorry, I didn't take any pre-disassembly photos but I think I removed about a pint or so of miscellaneous crap and corruption from inside. All interior wiring was rotten and cracked so I soldered in and heat shrunk all new.
The motor itself is 7.25" long, 6.5" tall, and weighs 24 lbs. It has a surprising amount of torque and runs very smooth and is almost silent.
I didn't scrub and paint it since it's going into the rathole for now but I probably will when I need it for something. I'll add pictures of it painted and dolled up when that happens.
