This post drill was, I understand, in the blacksmith's forge in the village of Great Easton, near Gt. Dunmow in the county of Essex (UK). This formed part of the estate of the Countess of Warwick (aka 'Darling Daisy') one of the many mistresses of Edward VII. It was acquired by me in the 1990s and forms part of my collection.
