This ratcheting arbor press came from the recently concluded Sparrows Point Steel Mill machine shop auction. It was listed as a "Dupont 3R Arbor Press" but looked suspiciously like a larger Greenerd. After visiting several websites, talking with 'The Good Doctor' (Bob Vaughan), and Frank at the duMont Company (yes, they make broaches), it turns out that this is actually a Greenerd No. 3&3/4 arbor press re-badged as a 'duMONT MINUTEMAN 3R ARBOR PRESS'(?) No one seems to know how long the duMont company has been doing this, but keep your eyes open - they also sell a re-badged Greenerd No. 3C as a 'duMONT MINUTEMAN 2R ARBOR PRESS'. The one I nabbed weighs in at a hefty 516 pounds - not including the 32" x 36" x one inch thick plate steel and angle iron base table that it's bolted to.
