First knowledge of planer was in a sash and blind shop in Franklin NH,moved to a business named Risen&Charles in E.Andover NH then set up in the shop of Mr.Risen at his residence in Andover after his retirement. Purchased at auction by Mr.Albert Garneau who set it up at his lumber yard in Franklin,then after his retirement was moved to his personal woodshop on Carr St.which was about a 1/2 mile from the location of the sash shop. Has a child Mr Garneau could remember watching the men in the sash shop using this planer.(Born in 1919).Having been a friend of the family for over 40 yrs.and through the generosity of the Garneau family the machine was given to me after the passing of Mr.Garneau.It now has a new home in Loudon NH at my shop where it continues to plane wood as Mr.Garneau would say "better than anything that is made today"
