This is an 18" Craftsman badged wood/metal bandsaw manufactured by Parks Woodworking Machine Co that was picked up on Craig's List. I was in need of a good machine to resaw 6x8 oak timbers and it looked like this machine would fill the bill. It was in need of a good overhaul and restoration when I purchased it. After completing the restoration, I now use this for resawing oak timbers. With the 3hp Baldor motor installed in the saw, it handles the timbers with no problems.
