Yet another ebay purchase, the seller apparently purchased it in a bundle of machinery from Falmouth Docks following a fire a few years ago. The saw is on an impressive scale, the blade is a full 48" diameter, by far the largest cast iron saw bench i have seen.
The rope feed is a very interesting mechanism, im very much looking forward to having it set up properly. I will convert it all back to flat belt drive as close as i can to how it should once have been, if anybody has any catalogue references to Sagar saws of this type i would be most grateful to hear from you as i cannot find anything as yet.

The cast iron Sagar badge, it is the same on only one other of my Sagar machines, both have an 'early' appearance about them in the simplicity of their machining, and detail to their cast shapes.
