I bought this machine from a closing business in Goshen, NY. Its a 4 speed 12" x 36" lathe. They had it in storage, all broken down for easy transport. The drum switch has a missing moving contact on one of the low speed wire terminations, single phasing the motor at the lowest speed. I belive I have located a surplus switch that I can steal a contact from and get this lathe running perfect. With a jumper wire in place, the motor purrs right along at the low speed, so hopefully I get lucky and the moving contact part is a drop in replacement. There are virtually no moving parts on this lathe, making the drive mechanism pretty bulletproof. The headstock bearings are 6206 size and 2 new bearings will have this machine running like new.
