I purchased this machine from a local hardware store in the mid 70's. I gave it really heavy use for almost 30 years and it performed extremely well. Eventually the years took their toll, the depth adjustment kept slipping making it difficult to work with any precision and I replaced it with a Delta 10" contractor's saw. In all those years I had to replace the internal drive belt only once. After 10 years the lock mechanism on the fence broke and Delta replaced it at no charge because they said it was poor design. I listed it on Ebay clearly stating the depth adjustment problem and sold it for $75 to a fellow who drove down from Vermont to pick it up. I'm sure that without any repairs it's probably still performing wll for him.
