Another recent ebay purchase, I have been looking for some time for a 36" example of the Sagar workshop band saw, after standing next to one a few years ago, and missing the opportunity to buy it. I thought that the 24" model i had was a substantial machine, but seeing the two side by side the 24" one looks like a toy in comparison; the 36" model is massive, standing at about 8' high. I have a few other Sagar machines, and nearly all say J. Sagar & Co Makers Halifax England. But, this one says 'Halifax Yorkshire' on the frame, just a little curiosity.
