I came across this machine in Worcester, MA. It is a sad sack but the bones appear to be quite good. Both pulleys are still there and the table and cranks are whole and undamaged. I had never seen one of these before and from what I can tell from the vintagemachinery.org catalog this is the B6W which is the wet version of the B6 (as opposed to the dry version which is B6D) . The original platen is missing as is the door to cover the wash shroud. A neat piece of history that was almost tossed away.
I classified this as a sander even though it is more accurate to call it a grinder - this is simply because the grinder category did not include a freestanding type.
