Comments:
Answered an ad for a 10" Craftsman table saw. While talking "old tools" the owner ask me to look at this and asked if I would be interested for $25. I immediately said yes. This is in exceptional shape. Neither the jointer (model 4) nor table saw (model 19) has a guard but the 1933 catalog indicates this item was an accessory option. So the Combination Model 419P is derived from those two models. The name tag on the jointer was clearly readable but the tag on the table saw was to worn. It is refered to as the "Planersaw". This was not previously represented in the Photo Registry.
Motor: Advance Electric CO., 1/2hp, 110-220v, 1750 speed, Type 271712, #8843.
Also noteable are the caster wheels. Hamilton Caster & CO, #6, Patent March 27, 1900.
