I bought this machine from a WW ll veteran friend of mine who had to move to an assisted living facility.
He used it to build the house he has lived in for about the last 65 years. The machine was being stored in a shed on his property in Hempstead Texas.
Before I started to dismantle it for a complete rebuild, it ran like a charm, just looked well used.
I started the rebuild today. New tires from Sulphur Grove Tool (through Amazon)
Kreg 14” fence with micro adjust and 4.5” re-saw guide.
Edit - This entry was updated to change the manufacture date. Based on the type of W-T badge on the upper wheel guard, the stand which is closed in the front, and the auxiliary motor mount off the back of the saw, this machine should date to the first year production for this line (or soon thereafter). admin:dg
Replaced the 1 HP with a 2 HP 1725 RPM spinning a 2” V belt motor pulley & 6.5" wheel pulley. Calculated SFPM:2,222
Machine was sand blasted primed and repaint with the original color.
