This nice old Delta drill press came out of the Sylvania plant in Hillsboro, NH. I traded it from a friend for a Rockwell table top drill press that I had bought new. He lacked the floor space, and I wanted more height and depth, so it was a win/win situation. When I got it, the motor pulley was wrong, so I contacted Delta parts and managed to get a pulley for it. I was less successful with the collar around the quill which holds the depth stop rod. It was broken and for some reason Delta had discontinued that part. I had a machinist friend fabricate the collar for me and it can be seen in the pictures. At some point I rebuilt the Jacobs chuck which was worn. It has the tilting table, which is a very nice feature. No serial number that I have found.
