saw this drill press and a powermatic model 143 bandsaw in the back of dump truck heading for the scrap yard. $50 each for the pair. the scrapper was happy and i was very happy and neither machine was damaged from the joy ride in the dump truck. took the drill press down to metal, replaced the bearings and rattle-canned the finish. it always pays to be in the right place at the right time. the bandsaw in the background is a cresent 26" off of a universal machine. another project down the line.
