there are no identifying names or badges on the machine. comparing it to all the pictures on this site, it appears to be a cowan & co. bandsaw. it matches in appearance perfectly with the one other 20" saw here. hope to get around to doing a restoration someday, but until then i will get it into working condition and make some sawdust. it came with a wagner 1 hp repulsion/induction motor, very dirty but purrs like a kitten. i do not know if that was original to the saw. babbet bearings seem fine, no breaks or repairs anywhere............a beautiful machine. there is the number 1007 stamped into the edge of the large table and i am assuming that is the serial number. if anybody has additional information, please contact me.
