at the right place at the right time. i saw this bandsaw and a rockwell 15" utility drill press in the back of a dump trunk headed for the scrap yard. paid $50 for each. it was amazing that nothing was damaged on either machine. took the bandsaw down to metal and rattled canned the finish. very sorry now i did not match the original color and hand paint it. shame. new bearings, wheels, oil and belts. smooth runner, quiet and pleasure to use. it spent it's almost first 50 years in high school wood shop.
