This nicely done lathe showed up on the online classifieds. Here is the ad text:

9" Metal Lathe made by R. McDougall, Galt, Ontario.
Comes with a complete set of change gears for threading, 3-jaw and 4-jaw chucks, steady rest, faceplate, and some tool holders.
Machine was stripped, re-painted with quality industrial paint, and had a few new parts made for it about 10 years ago.
All gears are perfect - no missing or chipped teeth (including those in the headstock)
Has 6 spindle speeds, (from 49 to 688 RPM) quickly selected with the 2 handles on the front of the headstock.
Has had very little use since then.
This is one of the smallest lathes McDougall made. They were known for making very robust, quality lathes.
