This jointer was originally on a wood base. I bought a second one which was in really bad shape and kept the base only.
The base was repainted but not the jointer itself.
The motor was not working properly. It started at lower speed and then sped up to a faster one. After clean up it was running fine. I believe some brushes were stuck.
