Found this on a several days old CL ad listed for "$20 with an electric motor, worth that in scrap alone". When I called to inquire about it he had only 1 other person call and the guy wanted him to deliver it! This saw is nearly in perect condition other than sawdust and a slight rust tinge. The engine turning on the splitter and the fence mounting bar are in great shape and the table top has the original machining ridges. What amazes me is the condition of the water transfers, after 70+ years and they are damn near as pefect as any I have ever seen. The color of the saw appears to be forest green ( Almost Identical color to an original 29 Dodge a friend owns) All photos were taken March 1, 2013. If any one wants copies of the labels in their original resolution, let me know
Mine is virtually identical to this one, http://vintagemachinery.org/photoindex/detail.aspx?id=7752 with only a slight couple of differences in the lock knob for the blade height adjuster and the arbor fittings. Even the color is the same. From what I can tell mine is 1934-35 based on catalog descriptions.
