Saw this machine at the same soon to be defunct lumberyard in east dundee illinois yesterday. This machine is slated to be scrapped. It is in great condition. The little 6 inch joiner is not shown as it was detached and put on a cart with another motor. The jointer is soon to be sold separate from its mother. This very early combo machine was used for a large portion of the general mill work done at the lumberyard. I am posting this in the hopes that someone will step up and get this machine saved. This machine could easily go into a museum or better yet, continue its service in the lumber business. If you want info on this, email me and I will try to pass it on to the person who is in charge of the machine's life. (Also a 16" j b rodgers joiner is their plus an America woodworking table saw. all on 3 phase motors. Also an entire buffing business with 1800s buffing machines and huge machines for a long ago defunct and bought out foundry!!) plus alot more.
